Mattia Reggiani ("MRDev", "we", "our", or "us") operates the mobile application AmpMetric: Cable Calculator (the "Application"). We are committed to transparency and respecting your privacy.

1. Zero Personal Data Collection

AmpMetric is designed as a local-first, offline utility. We do NOT collect, harvest, store, transmit, or sell any personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone data.

2. Device-Side Data & Local Storage

The Application saves operational preferences exclusively on your device using local key-value storage (SharedPreferences):

Selected Electrical Standard: Saves your chosen default standard (NEC, BS 7671, CEI 64-8, DIN VDE, AS/NZS, CEC, NF C 15-100).
Pro Entitlement State: Caches your offline license token so Pro features remain active without internet connectivity.

This data remains strictly on your local hardware and is never synced to external servers.

3. Third-Party Services & Monetization

The Application integrates standard developer SDKs provided by Google:

Google AdMob (Free Version Only): The free tier displays non-intrusive banner advertisements. Google AdMob may process non-sensitive advertising IDs and coarse device diagnostics in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Play In-App Billing: Processes optional subscriptions and lifetime Pro purchases. All payment transactions are handled securely by Google Play. We never receive or store credit card or banking details.
AmpMetric Pro (Ad-Free): When the user upgrades to AmpMetric Pro, all advertising SDK network requests and advertising trackers are completely stripped from the application runtime.

4. Engineering & Safety Disclaimer

AmpMetric provides technical calculation estimates based on published standards (NFPA 70, BS 7671, CEI 64-8, DIN VDE 0100, AS/NZS 3000, CSA C22.1, NF C 15-100). The Application is an auxiliary field aid. The installer or licensed professional engineer retains sole legal responsibility for verifying code compliance with the competent local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

5. Children's Privacy

The Application is intended for tradespeople and professionals and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.
